A 6-year-old boy who went missing from a property near Christchurch today has been found safe and well.
A police spokesman said the boy had been playing in the front garden of a property in East Maddisons Rd, in Rolleston, but his parents noticed he was missing about 3.15pm.
Police and firefighters scoured the neighbourhood and the boy was located "safe and well" in a neighbouring property.
