Auckland's Rainbow's End theme park has been given the all clear after a woman was trapped and injured on the log flume ride this afternoon.
The Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment, formerly the Department of Labour, visited the park and found the woman had caught her foot between two pieces of wood while entering the boat.
Firefighters were called to the theme park to free her and had to cut up parts of the ride.
Rainbow's End Theme park confirmed someone had sustained a leg injury at 12.45pm while on the log flume ride.
The woman was taken by ambulance to Middlemore Hospital at 2.10pm with minor injuries.
The ministry will not be investigating the incident.
Rainbow's End has commenced its own investigation.
