Three injured in pile-up near Raglan

Two children and a man were rushed to hospital after three cars collided this evening near Raglan.

State Highway 23 from Whatawhata to Raglan was closed after the accident, and police said it would be closed for several hours.

One child was taken to hospital by ambulance, and a male driver and another child were flown to Waikato Hospital by helicopter.

The Waikato Serious Crash Unit has started investigating the crash.
