Kiwi women on the bridge
The Royal New Zealand Navy is showing off its women to mark International Women's Day tomorrow.
They say that women now make up 22 per cent of the service, filling roles from captain to stewards, lawyers, combat specialists and engineers.
The tanker HMNZS Endeavour, which is presently exercising in Australia, has 12 women out of its 50 officers and ratings - including Captain Sandra Walker.
