Heavy rain and wind in Auckland has left a house damaged by a landslide, flooding throughout the region and power outages across the city.

A  large landslide into a house on Titirangi Beach road, West Auckland, meant the home had to be evacuated, according to the fire service.

There were no reports of injuries.

The fire service attended flooding across Auckland region as rainfall reached up to 25ml an hour at the height of the passing front.

“It has actually been all over, Waiheke to South Auckland,” said Paul Radden, Northern Regions Shift Manager.

High winds up to 85kmh had brought down trees, road signs and power lines around the city. Vector Ltd reported dozens of power outages in a number of suburbs across Auckland.
