Aerial shots show extent of Hawke's Bay fire
Aerial photos show the Hastings land scorched by wildfires.
The fire ripped through the tinder-dry land near Waimarama in the Hastings District earlier this week.
Local aerial photographer Peter Scott captured some dramatic images that clearly show the extent of the damage on the land.
The district's state of emergency status was lifted on Wednesday, after being declared on Monday.

While the fire ravaged about 200 hectares of farmland, only one home was destroyed in the blaze.
Luckily, everyone escaped with their lives. And some had miraculous stories of survival.
