New Zealand history buried among 80 million images in London's Getty vault
London's Getty Images archive contains around 80 million photographs from around the world.
Among them, some of modern history's most iconic moments have been captured - immortalised in photographic form contained in endless rows of boxes stored on countless shelves.
Deep in the archive's bowels are pictures of Christchurch from 1876, the Queen Mother when she visited New Zealand 90 years ago, and a whole section devoted to Sir Edmund Hillary.
