Wellington girl Jayda Harris, 12 went missing about midday on Friday. She was found late on Saturday.

A 12-year-old girl has been found, more than a day after she went missing in Wellington.

Police said Jayda Harris was located safe and well at a Naenae address about 6.30pm on Saturday.

Harris left her home in Naenae Rd, Naenae, about midday on Friday and hadn't been seen since.

Police and the girl's family and friends had been concerned about where she had gone.
 
Police said the circumstances around Harris' disappearance were confidential and her family was pleased she had been found unharmed.
