Cantabrians have been shaken by a magnitude 3.5 quake this afternoon.
The "moderate" tremor struck at 4.28pm and was centred 5km south of Christchurch at a focal depth of 9km.
The quake was downgraded from a magnitude 4.2 by Geonet.
It followed a 2.5 magnitude quake on Friday.
David Woodings said on Twitter that most recent earthquake caused his studio windows to flex.
Kim Triegaardt said it rocked her house and made the glasses rattle.
