A demolition company truck carrying concrete rubble tipped its load near Christchurch Airport early today.
The accident happened about 4.45am at the intersection of Memorial Ave and Russley Rd. It appeared the truck took the roundabout too fast and overturned.
A police spokesman said there would have been delays for anyone travelling to the airport early this morning, but the rubble was cleaned up before 7am.
A St John spokesman said the driver was uninjured and an ambulance was not required.
