On The House
12:25pm 20 Nov 2009 Labour leader Phil Goff seems to be trying out a new swagger this week.

Adam #18: I actually have to agree with Ben with most of his comments. Coming in from Karori into the CBD, whilst being aware of cyclists, you also have to contend with motorcyclists weaving in and out of traffic just trying to get ahead. With our narrow streets, I have had many close calls from idiots on motorbikes passing cars. So arrogant.
And I bet they smell funny wearing leather all the time.
Maybe Goff is doing ok. And so is John Key. Given the pathetic numbers at the Queen St 'protest', politicians must realise that most of the population are happy with what they are doing. If that is all who will turn out to object to the lack of action resulting from referenda, the politicians should keep on ignoring them.
Well, at present we have a direction-less govt with a flaccid leader. Smoke and mirrors with a smile. How absurd is that?
The obviously ill-informed and delusional partisan comments from the likes of Bill Brown just reinforce why Key will be a one trick pony. If you take his reasoning to its logical conclusion then money is the sole prerequisite and any fraudster, gambler or money launderer has proved his or her worth to run the country. Utter nonsense eh?
Meanwhile Goff's star as a proven performer in the tough arena of politics and international trade continues to rise.

Cullen's Sidekick - Don't you love it when the left get feral again and again and attack the people and not the message?
Lets face it people, Phil Goff is still yesterday's man, he never had the backbone to stand up to Helen Clark and now he even sounds like Don Brash! This is the "Orewa" speech all over again, so will we have the Labour apologists justifying it - of course.
