Skaters leap Christchurch earthquake cracks
Skaters have turned the quake-ravaged streets of Christchurch into a new skate park.
A YouTube video of Christchurch skaters leaping cracks in the ground and cordon tape has become a viral hit.
The video, which features skaters leaping deep cracks in the ground and skating silt-strewn empty streets, has attracted international attention and nearly 13,000 views.
Filmmaker and Christchurch skater Adrian 'Stunts' Anker-Payne said the quake had destroyed many favourite street skating spots, but created dramatic new ones.
