Police allege an Avonside man used a car bicycle rack and a blender as weapons during an armed burglary at a Wainoni house.

No bail application was made at the Christchurch District Court appearance today for Isaac Miles Milner, 22.

Hhe was remanded by Judge Jane Farish in custody to September 11 for an appearance by video-link from the prison.

He has entered no pleas to a charge of wounding a man with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and using the bike rack and blender as weapons in the burglary of a house in Ottawa Road on March 15.
