Elder contests legality of search warrant
Millie Elder and her boyfriend Connor Morris have this morning challenged a police search warrant which led to their arrest.
The pair are jointly charged with possessing methamphetamine.
Miss Elder, 20, clad in what appeared to be rabbit fur draped around her neck, smiled lovingly at boyfriend Morris who stood beside her in the dock at the Auckland District Court.
They were remanded on bail by Judge Nicola Mathers until June 29 for a hearing to decide the legality of the police search and seizure warrant.
If their challenge is unsuccessful, Elder's defence lawyer indicated they would go ahead with a defended hearing.
