Police have withdrawn the arrest warrant for the defence witness who failed to appear during the David Bain trial.
A police spokesperson confirmed the warrant for Dean Cottle's arrest which was issued on 25 May was lifted last week.
Defence counsel Michael Reed said at the time that Mr Cottle had not been found at his work or home.
An affidavit was read to the court in his absence.
Mr Cottle, who was due to be the last witness for the defence, is currently in Australia for work purposes.
Bain was acquitted of the 1994 murders of five family members on Friday.
