The Invercargill man who hosed down his naked four-year-old daughter as a lesson against bed wetting was yesterday fined $500 and sentenced to 12 months' supervision.
Ricky John Greig, 29, appeared before Judge Brian Callaghan in the Invercargill District Court for sentence on a charge of assaulting the child on March 15.
Grieg's relationship with his daughter would be subject to a Child Youth and Family inquiry, the judge said.
