Three Fijians and an Indian businessman have been accused of running a human trafficking racket selling jobs in New Zealand.
A trial in Suva started today with the Director of Public Prosecutions alleging 12 Indian nationals were brought into the country illegally by the four accused, the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation reported.
The 12 were allegedly tricked by the four accused into paying between $F6000 ($NZ4400) to $F8000 for jobs in New Zealand and Australia.
