A teenage Christchurch girl has been assaulted by two men as she walked home through the local school grounds.
A police spokeswoman said the girl was walking through Kendal School toward Waimairi Cemetery between 10pm and 11pm, Monday. The policewoman would not say how old the teen was, saying it was "not helpful".
At the gate between the school and the cemetery, the two men assaulting her, leaving her with superficial injuries.
Police are seeking witnesses.
The attackers were European men, aged between 20 and 30. One was bearded and the other had a goatee.
