The mystery of a badly hurt man found semi-conscious in Hamilton yesterday was unlikely to be resolved until he had been interviewed, say police.
The man was found by police in a pool of blood outside the Downtown Plaza in Hamilton after a security camera operator raised the alarm about 4am.
Hamilton police said they had yet to interview the injured man to find out what happened.
The man had been drinking and they were unsure if he fell over or was the victim of an attack.
