Police have made another arrest in connection with the alleged murder of Kapiti man Raymond Piper.
Mr Piper, 23, who was known as Son, last seen on May 15, when he disappeared from his partner Hanna Lark's house in Eatwell Ave, Paraparaumu Beach.
His body has still not been found.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Oxnam said a 17-year-old male was arrested this morning.
''This young man was arrested in Paraparaumu and faces one charge of being a party to the murder of Raymond Piper. He will appear in the Porirua District Court this afternoon.''
Two members of the family of Raymond Piper's former partner have already faced charges relating to his alleged murder.
His former partner's mother, Susan Bragger, 44, of Paraparaumu, and her uncle Sean Hawke, 50, of Tauranga, are accused of being party to causing grievous bodily harm to Mr Piper.
''The focus of this investigation remains on locating Mr Piper's body and returning it to his whanau, to be able to give him a final resting place''
The case was upgraded to a homicide inquiry when evidence from a Mazda Marvie four-wheel-drive vehicle confirmed that he had been killed violently.
