A 54-year-old grandmother arrested at Wellington Airport after one of the capital's biggest P seizures has been denied bail.
Susan Florence Horrobin, of Johnsonville, Wellington, reappeared in Wellington District Court this afternoon seeking bail.
But her bid was refused and she was remanded in custody until September 22.
Police alleged that Horrobin was found with close to 400g of methamphetamine, with a street value of $400,000, when searched at the airport on Tuesday afternoon.
One hundred ecstasy tablets and 45 tabs of LSD, worth $10,000, plus $10,000 cash was also found in her suitcase.
