Police are hunting a man who made "disturbing and offensive" approaches towards two teenage girls in Auckland.
The man made sexual comments to one of the girls, and exposed his genitals to the other.
He first approached a 13-year-old girl on Tawa Rd near One Tree Hill on August 6, where he spoke to her in a lewd manner before leaving in a red van.
Then, on August 25, a 14-year-old girl was walking past a "rust coloured" van in Buckley Road when a man sitting in the back called out to her.
The man was not wearing any pants and he exposed his genitals to the girl.
Police say he was described as 18 to 25 with dark spiky hair. He was clean shaven and had acne.
The van is described as red or rust coloured, possibly with yellow sign-writing.
Police urge members of the public to contact them if they have any information about the man or the van concerned.
* Information should go to Acting Sergeant Mary Colgan at the Onehunga Police on 622 8727 or e-mail mary.colgan@police.govt.nz
