Police are hunting two gun-toting offenders who robbed a Lynfield bank this morning.
A police spokesman said the offenders entered the Lynfield ASB Bank at 11.30am before fleeing to an underground car park. They left the scene in a black Nissan or Subaru station wagon.
Nobody was injured in the robbery.
Police said they were not yet able to say what was stolen.
Last Friday an armed robbery of an ASB in Avondale was thwarted after a customer and security guard chased the offender.
The robber, a young man, covered his face with a bandana or scarf before confronting a male customer with a large kitchen knife.
Anyone who may have witnessed this morning's robbery is asked to contact the police.
