A 21-year-old man has been arrested and police are hunting two others after an alleged home invasion north of Auckland early today.

Police were called to a home in Kauri Rd, Stanmore Bay, at 5am after reports an aggravated robbery was underway.
A police spokesman said a car was seen leaving the address and the driver refused to stop.

He was later tracked to Northcross and arrested.

Several items of stolen property have since been recovered.

Police are still seeking two other offenders allegedly involved in the robbery.

A 21-year-old man is due to appear in the North Shore District Court today charged with possession of instruments for conversion, failing to stop for police, Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, theft, and aggravated burglary.
