A 26-year-old man has been arrested after an armed offenders squad callout in Redwood this afternoon.

LATEST: Police were called out at noon after reports a man at a Tuckers Rd address had been seen with a firearm and was threatening a neighbour.

The man surrendered to police without incident and was taken into custody.

Police said the man was assisting police with thjeir inquiries, and no charges had yet been laid.

An air rifle was recovered from the property.
