A woman has pleaded guilty to kidnapping and threatening to kill a 17-year-old girl in Opotiki.

Kelly Patricia Tangimereana Purewa, 32, appeared today in the Opotiki District Court with two co-accused, Leah Shaw, 20, and Moewaka Biddle- Sevaki, 21, on charges of injuring with intent, threatening to kill and kidnapping.

Purewa pleaded guilty to all three charges.

Her co-accused entered no plea and are due to reappear in court on November 22.

Purewa is due to be sentenced on December 6.
