Senior Head Hunter in court on methamphetamine charges
A senior member of the Head Hunters gang has been charged with possession of methamphetamine for supply.
The 59-year-old man turned himself in at Auckland Central Police Station on Thursday morning, the day after a police raid on the gang's headquarters in West Auckland.
The man wasn't at the address but police made contact with him after the raid.
He will appear in Auckland District Court on Friday morning.
Police said the possession of methamphetamine for supply charges related to a search police carried out at a motel in the Christchurch suburb of Sockburn in early March.
