Four Englishmen who relieved themselves in a lift in central Queenstown late on New Year's Day found themselves arrested for their troubles.

Sergeant Blair Duffy said four men were arrested inside Stratton House at 11.40pm on Tuesday after urinating inside a lift near the Skycity Casino.
