Two men have been charged in connection with the robberies of Countdown supermarkets in Palmerston North and Feilding.

The two men, aged 18 and 22, are due to appear in Palmerston North District Court today.

Each faces two charges of aggravated robbery for the alleged robberies at Broadway Countdown on December 23 and Feilding Countdown on December 27.

Police said it was likely they would face further charges in relation to a similar incident on December 23.
