BEACHED: The grounded yacht near Shag Rock.
Investigations are underway in Christchurch after three separate arson incidents including a torched car, an extensive scrub fire and a fire on a grounded yacht.
A car parked up a driveway had been set alight on Woodham Rd, Linwood just before 6am. A nearby fence was also on fire.
Fire Service crews quickly extinguished the flames.
It is the third suspicious fire in the last 24 hours, after crews spent more than 18 hours at the scene of a suspicious scrub fire on the Port Hills yesterday and a blaze on board a grounded yacht near Shag Rock in Sumner yesterday morning.
