A teenager who allegedly robbed a Rolleston service station of some lollies while wearing a shark onesie has appeared in the Christchurch Youth Court.

A teenager who allegedly robbed a Canterbury petrol station wearing a shark onesie has been arrested.

Police Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Worner said two teenagers appeared in the Christchurch Youth Court on Tuesday charged with aggravated robbery.

The pair were remanded to reappear in April.

Worner said two males entered the BP at Rolleston about 2.20am on March 6 and left the station with a small amount of lollies.
