Police are investigating a serious incident at the Headhunters' gang pad in Wellsford, north of Auckland.

Early this morning police were called to the Centennial Park Rd address after reports a woman had been assaulted.

Officers are now guarding the scene and the Criminal Investigations Branch in Orewa is looking into the incident involving a woman with a suspected fractured arm and a man with minor stab wounds.
