Police are looking for a man suspected of indecently assaulting two women in West Auckland.

The man was seen loitering near shops in West Coast Rd about 12.50pm on March 11 before following a woman into her workplace.

He indecently assaulted her and then ran off.

Police are also considering whether the same man was responsible for a similar incident in broad daylight two weeks earlier in Waitakere.

A man matching the description of the alleged offender committed a similar lewd act against a woman as she walked between Kathmandu and BB's Cafe in the Waitakere Plaza towards Great North Rd.

The man was observed loitering around the area before the assault.
