Police are looking for a man suspected of indecently assaulting two women in West Auckland.

The man was seen loitering near shops in West Coast Rd about 12.50pm on March 11 before following a woman into her workplace.

He indecently assaulted her and then ran off.

Police are also considering whether the same man was responsible for a similar incident in broad daylight two weeks earlier in Waitakere.

A man matching the description of the alleged offender committed a similar lewd act against a woman as she walked between Kathmandu and BB's Cafe in the Waitakere Plaza towards Great North Rd.

The man was observed loitering around the area before the assault.

Anyone with information as to his identity is urged to call Constable Collette O'Regan, of the Waitakere police on 09 839 0622.
