A number of services will be held around Hawke's Bay across ANZAC Day morning.

Hawke's Bay residents will gather at a number of sites around the region this ANZAC Day to remember those who served.

The Dawn Service in Hastings on Tuesday, April 25,  starts at 5.15am with a march from the pou in Civic Square to the cenotaph in the city centre.

After hymns, wreath-laying, firing volley and reveille, a fly past by the Hawke's Bay Aero Cub will soar overhead at 6am.

Family members are welcome to wear parents' or grandparents' medals.

Breakfast is being offered at Clubs Hastings for $2 a person.

A service will be held at the Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldiers' memorial Hospital at 10am followed by a number of community services across the district over the morning.

The Havelock North service begins at 10.30am at the town's cenotaph or the community centre if wet.

The Clive and Haumoana service begins at 9.20am at the Clive War Memorial, a Maraekakaho service will be held in the community hall at 9.30am and the Te Hauke service will start at 10am at the Ruahapia Marae.

Waimarama will host a service at the community hall from 6.30am.

The Napier parade will leave from the Department of Conservation office on Marine Parade at 5.55am before the dawn service at the Sound Shell at 6am.

The city's RSA warmly invited former and recent service personnel to be part of the parade and services this ANZAC day along with family members, plus those wearing parents' or grandparents' medals.

A civic service parade will form on the corner of Emerson Street at 10.35am later in the day and walk to the cenotaph before a service at 11am

Another service, also arranged by the Napier RSA, will be held at the Eskdale church war memorial at 9am.

To recognise ANZAC Day entry to the MTG in Napier will be free for the day, opening at the earlier time of 7am.

This provided an opportunity to view the centre's World War One exhibition; From the uttermost Ends of the Earth – Hawke's Bay at War 1914-1918, before it closed on April 30.

In Taradale a cemetery service is planned for 6am at the Lone Pine Memorial, followed by a 9am service at the Taradale Memorial Clock Tower.
