Lower Hutt office's CCTV video shows intensity of 7.8 magnitude earthquake video

CCTV footage has emerged of the damage the 7.8 earthquake caused at one Lower Hutt business.

Video has emerged from a Lower Hutt office that was hit hard by the 7.8 magnitude earthquake on November 14.

The CCTV footage, taken from two different camera angles, shows the empty call centre.

Some minor shaking starts, but that soon escalates in intensity as cups, papers and all manner of office items are strewn across the office.

Ceiling panels are shaken loose and some temporarily obscure the view of the camera, before falling to the ground.
