Quake shakes Hawke's Bay
A moderate 4.6 magnitude earthquake rattled Hastings on Monday afternoon followed by a series of weaker aftershocks.
Felt as far north as Auckland and as far south as Christchurch the quake hit at 5.32pm 30km southeast of the Hawke's Bay city.
GeoNet reports more than 1200 people felt the quake, which was 25 kilometres deep.
