Prince Charles and wife Camilla are to visit New Zealand for six days in November.
Prime Minister John Key today announced that the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall would travel to Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch and the Manawatu during their trip.
The prince will be here during his birthday: November 14, when he turns 64.
In Feilding the couple will attend the local farmers market - recently voted the best in the country - before heading over to the Ohakea Air Force base to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
The Royal couple will also attend a sports event, a public walk, an event highlighting New Zealand's wool industry, and will open the new visitor centre at Government House which is a Diamond Jubilee gift to Queen Elizabeth.
In Christchurch the focus will be on the recovery process and they will also attend the 150th Agricultural and Pastoral Show.
Key said it would be a great pleasure to welcome Prince Charles and Camilla.
"The Prince of Wales will be representing the Queen of New Zealand on the visit, which celebrates Her Majesty's remarkable 60 years of service."
This is Camilla's first visit to New Zealand and the couple will also take some private time to see the sights during their busy itinerary.
Charles and Camilla will arrive in New Zealand on the back of tours in Papua New Guinea and Australia.
Prince Charles last visited in 2005.
