United Future rebrands as UnitedFuture
The United Future Party says it is now UnitedFuture and it has a new mission statement.
Leader Peter Dunne said the party was being "revitalised" before next year's election.
The statement says UnitedFuture is a modern centre party, promoting strong families and vibrant communities.
It seeks a fair and open society, free from poverty, ignorance and prejudiced, and based on innovation, self-reliance, justice and integrity.
UnitedFuture was created by a merger of the United Party and Future New Zealand, a Christian party.
Earlier this year MP Gordon Copeland left the party and is going to form his own Christian party.
He wants to call it Future New Zealand, but could have problems with that because the Electoral Commission does not allow names that could confuse voters.
UnitedFuture's new mission statement does not mention Christian values.
