Short Forecast for all New Zealand
Northland, Auckland and Coromandel Peninsula: Fine spells. Isolated showers during the afternoons and evenings, some possibly heavy with thunderstorms south of Manukau Harbour.

Waikato to Taumarunui, including Bay of Plenty, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and Taihape: Scattered showers during the afternoons and evenings, mainly inland, where some will be heavy and thundery, with downpours.

Taranaki to Wellington, also Wairarapa: Areas of morning cloud tomorrow, otherwise fine.

Nelson and inland Marlborough: Mainly fine, isolated showers about the ranges today.

For the remainder of the South Island: Fine, apart from areas of cloud or fog morning and evening from Marlborough to Otago.Isolated showers about the ranges today, and a few showers across Fiordland and coastal Southland tomorrow.

Chatham Islands: Often cloudy.

Thursday: North Island, mainly fine, apart from isolated showers inland. South Island, cloudy periods and a few showers in Fiordland and about the south coast. Mainly fine elsewhere, with isolated showers about the ranges.

Friday: North Island, mainly fine. South Island, rain developing in Fiordland and Westland, possibly heavy, easing to a few showers later. High cloud increasing elsewhere, with scattered falls spreading across the south.

Saturday: North Island, isolated showers. South Island, showers in Fiordland and Southland. Mainly fine elsewhere, with early rain in Buller easing to a few showers, also isolated showers about the ranges.

Chatham Islands: Mostly cloudy. A few showers on Thursday and Friday, then rain developing on Saturday and easing to a few showers later. Westerlies changing southerly late Thursday, then strong northwesterly on Friday.
