Fiordland, Southland and Otago: Areas of morning cloud clearing, then fine apart from isolated afternoon or evening showers for Central Otago and drizzle at night for eastern Otago.
Canterbury: Scattered rain, clearing from the Plains this morning, and fine breaks developing. Drizzle developing south of Banks Peninsula tonight.
