Kiwi Angela Fox has been named as the new vice president and general manager of Dell for New Zealand and Australia.
Fox, who has 24 years' experience in the IT sector, will move to her new role in Sydney next month having from Singapore where she is vice president and general manager of Dell's Services Business across Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ).
Before that, she held various leadership roles including executive director of Dell's Enterprise Solutions Business in Asia Pacific and Japan and executive director of Dell's Enterprise Solutions Business across Australia and New Zealand.
Before joining Dell, Fox worked at IBM for 16 years in sales and leadership roles.
"As a New Zealander, I am thrilled to return from Singapore to be able to lead this region, which is one of Dell's top markets, globally. I am also able to bring my local knowledge to help customers meet their business needs with Dell's solutions,'' she said.
Fox replaces Joe Kremer who joined Dell in 2003 in the United States and went to Sydney in 2005 ro run Australia and New Zealand. He is leaving to spend time with his family and pursue personal and philanthropic interests.
