Police seek bottom-pincher

Nelson police are looking for a bottom-pinching scooter rider.

Police have received four complaints in the past two weeks from women have been approached by the rider of a moped type scooter and grabbed from behind.

The scooter rider has struck three times on the Railway Reserve near the Victory area on December 10 and 11 between 10am to 4pm, and in Dorset St, Richmond at 3pm last Friday.

Police want to hear from anyone else assaulted in a similar fashion during this time and who have not yet reported this.

The suspect is described as a European in his late teens or early twenties, of slight build and pale complexion.  He was wearing dark clothing including a black hoody top and a black full face motorcycle helmet.

The scooter is described as being in a tidy condition, black or dark silver with a registration number similar to 42Y_ _.
