Hanover Finance says it’s unaware of a potential rival suitor to Allied Farmers for its assets.
An investment banking source told BusinessDay a second bidder may emerge to contest Allied Farmer's $400 million offer for Hanover and subsidiary United Finance's assets.
However, a Hanover spokeswoman said today the crippled finance company was unaware of any other bid.
"We're only talking to Allied Farmers. They've done the due diligence and we're taking their offer to investors."
