How to place a Classified Advert

Our friendly telephone-sales representatives are available Mon-Fri 8am to 5.30pm and Saturday 8am to 10am to help you place your advert (see below for office hours).

Advertisements can be placed:

An answer phone is available to take your messages after hours.

By Post:
Send to Classified Advertising The Nelson Mail, PO Box 244, Nelson and include the following information:

• Your full name, address, daytime and home phone number and signature
• The classification for your advert
• The dates of insertions
• The words for your advert

Charging details ie postal address, credit card number and expiry date or if paying by cheque, call us for a quote. Post to allow two days before insertion date

Rates:
All classifieds adverts are charged at $6.73 + GST per column cm

Family notices $8.75+ GST per column cm 

Late Adverts:
accepted up to 9am on the day $10.10 + GST per column cm

Cash or credit card payment is required for Garage sales, Wanted to rent, Adult entertainment, Flatmates or Work wanted.
Adult entertainment adverts require proof of age
