The wine will be chilled and the acts will be hot. Tickets are now on sale for the 2013 More FM Summer Vineyard Tour at Trafalgar Park on February 19.
Opshop are headlining the countryside convoy, alongside Aria-Award winning Australian artist Missy Higgins. Che-Fu and Aaradhna will join them on the road for a soul set as well as playing their solo hits.
Singer/songwriter Missy Higgins has just released her latest album, The Ol' Razzle Dazzle, and recently toured the United States with Gotye.
Che-Fu is a founding member of Supergroove and has a string of classic Kiwi anthems. Joining him onstage is R&B songstress Aaradhna. Calling on influences such as Ruth Brown, Otis Redding and Amy Winehouse, Aaradhna's forthcoming new album, Treble & Reverb, features songs reminiscent of the late 50s and 60s.
Aaradhna describes the musicians she'll be performing with as "awesome-sauce".
She last visited the region in 2005 and says she's looking forward to returning. "I remember how lovely the weather was when I was there, sunny and beautiful."
