Fashion with Justine Jamieson
The silly season is here and it's time to leave the stresses of work behind relax on the beach, at a campsite, or at the bach.
This relaxed feeling should also be reflected in fashion.
There are always the "campsite divas" and I don't know how they manage to pull off their glam look with minimal shower time, average mirrors and limited power sockets for the GHDs, where I on the other hand tend to look like a half sucked jube when I go camping.
I find it easier to take a trip back in time to the 70s, where "hippie" was where it was at. Unwashed, salty, waved hair is a must with this look and kaftans/dresses are essential and bikinis become underwear.
To accessorise this look, chuck on a pair of haviannas or cute boho sandals, a large hat, satchel type bag or oversized beach bag and some water resistant boho bracelets and you are done.
This year's summer fashion does favour relaxed, patterned trousers (that end at the ankle) or cute patterned shorts.
If you are opting for this look then be ready to pack your baggy crop top or tunic (depending on your personal modesty level) and a long, large necklace and smaller bowler or boater style hat.
I have put together a list of my favourite items to take on holiday, so get ready for that last minute dash to the shops to purchase them for your summer suitcase.
