What do I do about my newspaper while I am on holiday?

If you're going to be away from home, we recommend that you get a neighbour to collect your newspaper, or you can ask us to temporarily stop your delivery.

Can I buy one of your photos?

Yes. You can make enquiries about Fairfax copyrighted photos, articles and video by emailing or calling 0800 339 79634 or calling into our Nelson or Richmond offices.

How do I send a letter to The Nelson Mail?

We welcome your thoughts regarding a story that ran in the Nelson Mail, or even an event you experienced that you would like to discuss. There are two ways to submit your letter:

By mail: Letters to the Editor, The Nelson Mail, PO Box 244 Nelson 7040.

Letters may be edited or rejected for legal, space or other reasons. We prefer letters to be no longer than 200 words. A postal address and phone number are required.

How do I post an online comment?

How do I make a complaint about editorial content (an article or image) in The Nelson Mail?

The Nelson Mail is subject to NZ Press Council procedures. If you hve a complaint it must first be directed in writing to the editor at PO Box 244 Nelson 7040. or email with the subject line "Complaint". If you are not satisfied with the response, the complaint may be referred to the Press Council, PO Box 10-879, The Terrace, Wellington 6143. Or lodge a complaint online. Please include copies of the article and all correspondence with The Nelson Mail.
