Nelson teenagers can look forward to seeing Broods play in their hometown after touring the globe.

Nelson Underage, an initiative of the Youth and Community Trust, is bringing siblings, Georgia and Caleb Nott to Nelson next month.

Georgia Nott, from Broods, said they are looking forward to their home town gig, which comes hot on the heels of the band supporting Ellie Goulding's arena tour of Australia and New Zealand.

Georgia and Caleb were members of the Garin College indie rock band, The Peasants, who won Smokefreerockquest in 2011.

They formed Broods in early 2013 and began collaborating with Lorde's music producer Joel Little.

Broods will be playing at the Theatre Royal on June 21. Tickets $15 (plus booking fee) from Ticket Direct (Theatre Royal).
