Wild winds have sent a large gum tree crashing onto a cabin at a Washington Valley property.
Owner Peter Meyer was away but the other residents on his Mount Vernon Place property heard the loud crash as strong wind blew the tree over about 7pm on Wednesday.
The roof was extensively damaged, the ceiling collapsed and the window frame and panes were smashed.
