Public input on heritage choices
Relevant offers
The Nelson City Council is asking the public to help identify if more heritage places and buildings in the city need protection.
As part of its heritage inventory project, the council is reviewing the heritage places and buildings already protected under the Nelson Resource Management Plan and assessing if others should be added.
People can nominate any heritage place, object or building for possible assessment by June 30, by phoning 5460388 and speaking to Paul Harrington or Peter Rawson, emailing paul.harrington@ncc.govt.nz or from next week completing an online form at nelsoncitycouncil.co.nz (search phrase heritage inventory project).
